Columbiettes: Legislation/Respect Life Newsletter – November 2018
LEGISLATION UPDATE: New Jersey Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act (1504/S1072). Bill A-1504 was amended and should be up for a vote in the Assembly. Bill S-1074 has passed the Senate and is now in the Assembly and will also be up for a vote. At this time there is no way to tell exactly when it will be voted upon. (source-LegInfo@njleg.org) NJRTL continues to be concerned that the passage of the bills could lead to the abuse of the elderly and disabled. We are urged to make our legislators aware of our concerns.
